Orca 3.8 Wetsuit 2016

If endurance rocks your boat, this is your wetsuit. Named after the 3.8km Iron Man Contest length, the 3.8 Enduro offers you the best swim position to enhance performance. 2013 saw the Orca 3.8 excel with its Exo-Cell buoyancy system and a year on its popularity speaks for itself. The Enduro 3.8 combines the Exo-Cell System and Aerodome 2 panels. These ultra-buoyant materials increase equilibrium and reduce drag, facilitating your ideal swim position. Designed for long-distance triathletes or swimmers seeking improved torso and leg position in the water, the 3.8 comes with 1.5mm-2mm 40-cell neoprene panels on the arm and underarm areas. Its high-stretch inner lining guarantees excellent range of motion, comfort and fast transitions, while the Infinity Skin lining adds even greater flexibility.

If you're a long distance triathlete looking for buoyancy without compromising on flexibility. Your best option for comfort, speed and balance to give you an unbeatable performance edge.

New men’s specific buoyancy allows more balanced buoyancy with 3mm chest panel, a greater front area of 5mm Exo-cell on the waist than the female version and 5mm SCS coated Aerodome 2 on the butt-giving you greater lift than any previous 3.8 before.

2mm 44cell Yamamoto shoulders combined with 1.5mm 40cell underarms give you stretch where you need it most.

Super thin 2mm SCS coated neoprene collar provides the ultimate in comfort where you need it most.

SCS coated Yamamoto neoprene is used in Hydrolite panels in the ankles of the suit combined with a stretchy lining that absorbs less water to improve buoyancy and is super sleek, making the 3.8 even faster to remove in transition.

• Infinity skin lining - unparalleled flexibility

• Exo-cell core - strategic panel placement for optimized swim position

• Aerodome 2 panels strategic panel placement on the back, butt and legs for optimized swim position and maximum buoyancy where it’s needed

• 44 cell arm panels - highest grade of yamamoto neoprene

Wetsuit Sizing Tips:

  • When you are trying to find the correct wetsuit size, your weight is much more important that your height.
  • Wetsuits will fit quiet tight to the body and if you prefer a more comfortable fit, most people do, then go up a size.
  • If you are in between sizes, then select the bigger size as the wetsuit will fit better.
  • A wetsuit that fits comfortably will be quicker to put on and take off and will last you longer as there will be less stress on the seams.
